URGENT LIST: These dogs could be euthanized in Abilene if not adopted

ABILENE, Texas (KRBC/KRBC) – Abilene’s All Kind Animal Shelter currently has 14 dogs on the urgent list, meaning they could be euthanized if not adopted. 

All Kind says that these dogs have been selected to be on the urgent list, “on a variety of factors, including behavioral concerns (such as reactivity towards people or other animals), serious medical conditions, deteriorating conditions in the kennel, and space limitations.”

The shelter is currently intaking more animals than it is adopting out, causing an issue with available space.

The following dogs are on the urgent list and need families to foster or adopt them to save them from potential death: 

• Charm – Labrador Retriever Mix FEMALE (2 years, 4 months)
• Hera – Pit Bull Terrier FEMALE (1 year, 1 month)
• Drake – Labrador Retriever/Border Collie MALE (1 year, 1 month)
• Cerci – Pit Bull Terrier FEMALE (2 years, 2 months)
• Ninja – Catahoula Leopard Dog, Pit Bull Terrier FEMALE (8 months)
• Derrick – Catahoula Leopard Dog MALE, Pit Bull Terrier (8 months)
• Bubba – Catahoula Leopard Dog MALE, Pit Bull Terrier (8 months)
• Mando – Terrier MALE (1 year, 2 months)
• Gary – Labrador Retriever Mix MALE (1 year, 2 months)
• Athena – Bullmastiff FEMALE (4 years, 10 months)
• Cabel – German Shepherd Mix MALE (5 years, 7 months)
• Dexie – Terrier Mix FEMALE (3 years, 1 month)
• Harvie – Labrador Retriever Mix MALE (2 years, 1 month)
• Zoey – Labrador Retriever FEMALE (2 years, 3 months)
