Princeton man killed in high-speed motorcycle crash Thursday night

A Princeton man is dead after his motorcycle crashed Thursday night near Elk Lake.

The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office says that a motorcyclist crashed around 11:15 p.m. at 146th Street and 285th Avenue Northwest.

The man was identified as 27-year-old Andrew R. Steadman. Witnesses said that he was driving at a high rate of speed just before crashing.

Investigators found a helmet in the roadway near the scene and are working to determine more about what caused Steadman to crash.
