The tasting cruises, “Brews on Board” and “Spirits on the Spirit,” are a response to the cruise operator’s success with a wine tasting cruise that kicked off three years ago.
“We’ve had so many guests ask us when we were going to add beer and spirits into the mix,” General Manager Dennis Corwin said. “Fall felt like the perfect season to showcase the rich brewing and distilling culture of the Northwest against the backdrop of a sunset cruise on the Willamette.”
Crews on Board begins Sept. 5 and will include samples from 14 breweries and cideries based in the Pacific Northwest. Samples range from pFriem to Great Notion to Bauman’s Cider.
Later, Spirits on the Spirit will kick off Oct. 23 and feature dozens of spirits from distillers like Wild Roots and Bird Creek Whiskey.
Tickets for both cruises are $58 per person. They can be purchased on the Portland Spirit website.
