ASUMH opens 14th annual performing arts series with Journey tribute group

Arkansas State University-Mountain Home has announced the lineup for the 14th season of its Performing Arts Series, set to begin Sept. 13 with a performance by Resurrection: A Journey Tribute, a nationally recognized band.
The series, which continues through April 16, 2026, features a variety of music, culture, educational lectures and entertainment events aimed at enriching the Twin Lakes Area.

“It’s a joy to bring the most unbelievable performances to the Twin Lakes area,” Vice Chancellor Christy Keirn said during a recent visit to the KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News studios.

In addition to ticketed performances, the season includes two free events. Among them is a lecture by Reed Timmer, a storm chaser and extreme meteorologist known for intercepting more than 1,000 tornadoes. Timmer will speak Sept. 23 and is also recognized for his use of the Dominator vehicle.
