NOLA Pool Passport: Pool with fantastic view at The Virgin Hotels New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — This week sure has been a hot one and pools are one way to feel some relief from the heat, and WGNO is trying to help you cool off all summer long with our “NOLA Pool Passport.”

With the “NOLA Pool Passport,” you can get into six different luxury pools for $64, which will be basically $10 a pool.

Today’s stop is The Virgin Hotels New Orleans Pool Club, where our pool boy Kenny Lopez is taking a dip.

“When people walk up to The Pool Club they are immediately mesmerized by our red flower wall once they walk in, and then once they walk outside they come out here and see this beautiful urban oasis,” Julian Carrillo, Marketing Manager at The Virgin Hotels New Orleans said.

“One of the most unique things about our pool is that it is one of the only rooftop pools in New Orleans, not only does it have amazing views, but amazing cocktails, and we have entertainment, so it is just an overall experience,” he said.

One of the best parts of this pool is its breathtaking views.

“The views of downtown New Orleans. Not only in the morning when the sun is rising, but also at golden hour, which is called our happy hour as well. You’ll be able to experience views like none other here in New Orleans. Our pool has panoramic views of Uptown and the Garden District and the bridge. I mean you’re seeing everything that you want to,” Carrillo said.

On weekends this pool has DJ entertainment that guests can experience when they lounge around the pool, while drinking cocktails.

“They can walk right up to the bar and even ask their server if they have a section and they can order food or drinks. The pool is the vibe that the day brings to it. Come visit the Virgin Hotels New Orleans and leave feeling better,” he said.
