Necklace ripped off woman’s neck in May San Jose strong-arm robbery

(KRON) — The San Jose Police Department is investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred in late May and hoping that the public can provide any new leads.

SJPD said the incident happened on May 23 at 10:55 a.m. in the 600 block of N. 17th Street.

Detectives said two suspects confronted the female victim and snatched her necklace. The duo fled the scene before officers could arrive and remain at large.

San Jose police did not disclose if the woman was injured during the robbery or if similar incidents have occurred in the area since then.
