METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — A Metairie man indicted on charges involving child sex crime in 2024, has been sentenced.

On June 21, 2024, now 51-year-old Kevin Lillis was charged for the distribution of child sexual abuse material, receiving child sexual abuse material and receiving obscene visual representations of the sexual abuse of children.

According to documents filed with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, in March 2024 the FBI executed a search warrant of Lillis’ home and electronic devices where they reported finding files containing over 600 images and six videos “depicting the sexual victimization of children.”

Included in the files were also depiction of an infant “engaging in sexually explicit content.”

Additionally, agents reportedly found conversations Lillis had with users of end-to-end encrypted messaging apps on Nov. 19, 2023, Dec. 20, 2023, Feb. 5, 2024 and March 5, 2024.

Agents said there is where he reportedly engaged in hands-on sexual contact with multiple minors between eight and ten years old over the past two decades. 

On July 30, 2025, Lillis pled guilty to the charges resulting in a 175 month (14 years) prison sentence.
