Meet our WGNO intern from Nicholls State University: Tank Nelson

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) —Born and raised in Laplace, Louisiana, Tank Nelson is a senior at Nicholls State University, majoring in Mass Communication with a concentration in journalism.

While at school Tank holds the title of Station Manager at KNSU Radio and also serves as the technical director for the campus television station.

As a summer intern, Tank has gotten several first hand experiences in the news field. From writing scripts, learning how to direct broadcast, produce shows and reporting in the field. truly getting an all around news experience at his time at WGNO.
