METAIRIE, (La.)- Tulane football changed things up for Day 2 of fall camp, as head coach Jon Sumrall had his team practice at the Gold Mine on Airline in Metairie.
It gave the Green Wave an opportunity to practice on natural grass and a change of scenery for a team that has 60 new players.
Sumrall says all four quarterbacks who are fighting for the starting job have progressed nicely so far (Kadin Semonza, Brendan Sullivan, Donovan Leary and Jake Retzlaff).
Tulane opens the season August 30 at 11 AM for a home contest against Northwestern.
