Skies clear Thursday with warm inland highs

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Thursday calls for cloud cover before skies gradually clear during the day, with some inland areas getting sunny skies throughout.

Daytime highs will be in the mid 60s to low 70s along the coast, mid 60s to low 80s around the bay, and low 80s to low 90s inland. Overnight lows will be mostly in the upper 50s, with inland areas in the low 60s.

Looking ahead to Friday, we start the month of August with mild weather through the weekend with cloudy mornings and nights, sunny afternoons. Strong onshore winds are expected Sunday and Monday along the coast, gaps, passes and mountain areas.

Sunrise in San Francisco is at 6:12 a.m. Sunset is at 8:18 p.m.
