James Thomas Lynch was arrested on Wednesday morning on a charge of public indecency, police said.
Police said they initially responded to reports of a man masturbating from his car while looking toward Amazon Pool at 2600 HIlyard St., mainly occupied by children taking swimming lessons at the time.
After a police drone located the suspect vehicle, a Toyota Camry, authorities said the video feed from the drone “established probable cause for arresting Lynch for his behavior.”
Officers later approached the vehicle on foot, with Lynch attempting to leave the parking lot, but he was stopped and arrested, police said.
Lynch was later taken to the Lane County Jail.
