BOSSIER PARISH (KTAL/KMSS) – The Bossier Chamber is rallying businesses to assist them in their efforts to provide supplies for local children heading back to school.
In an enthusiastic message, they announce their goals for the upcoming drive.
“Let’s pack the bus for Bossier Schools! Some Bossier students may not be equipped with the supplies they need to succeed and we’re here to help! The Bossier Chamber will host a school supply drive on July 31 to benefit Bossier Parish Schools this year. Bring the supplies to the school bus in the parking lot and we’ll donate them to Bossier Schools!”
The organization included a list of supplied needed for the 2025 Pack The Bus event.
Needed supplies:
- No. 2 pencils
- 3-ring binders (1-inch and larger)
- Plastic pocket folders
- Tab dividers
- Folders w/ brads
- Plastic pencil box or zippered pouches
- Cap erasers or pink erasers
- Paper towels/Kleenex
- Composition notebooks
- Loose leaf paper
- Graph paper
- Glue sticks
- Dry erase markers
- Markers
- Headphones/earbuds
- Blue or black ink pens
- Colored pencils
- Scissors
- Index cards
- Highlighters
- Backpacks
The event is set to take place Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Walmart Supercenter located at 2536 Airline Drive.
