Louisiana singer to perform in Baton Rouge before heading to America’s Got Talent stage
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Louisiana native will be performing on America’s Got Talent soon but before then fans will get the chance to see him in Baton Rouge.

Jourdan Blue will be taking part in a send-off show at Pura Vida Coffee Bar, 4005 Nicholson Drive, Suite A, on Saturday, August 9

Blue will then have the opportunity to perform during the America’s Got Talent live shows, which start on August 19. 

He earned the opportunity to be on the live shows when he received the Golden Buzzer from Howie Mandel.

Before seeing the golden confetti drop from the ceiling, the Louisiana native sang a cover of “Breakeven” by The Script.

Ten days prior to the live shows beginning, Blue will be at the new coffee shop, which is not far from Tiger Stadium.

The party will begin at 8 p.m. and will feature djtrebble along with beer, wine, espresso martinis, and cocktails available all night, according to co-owner Canon Cockrell.

Tickets for this event are available on this website. Presale tickets cost $20, or you can pay $30 at the door or $40 for a meet and greet.
