Truck driver taken to hospital after crash on I-70 in Howard County

HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A truck driver was hospitalized Tuesday following a crash on Interstate 70 in Howard County.

Maryland State Police (MSP) told DC News Now that the single-vehicle crash happened around 11:20 a.m. on July 29 on the westbound side of I-70, near Exit 73, in the Lisbon area.

The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital for treatment, and their condition is unknown.

As troopers continue their investigation, one lane on I-70 West remains blocked off. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes until the crash is cleared.
