MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WOWK) – The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a missing man from California.
According to the sheriff’s office, Daniel B. Sayre, 45, of California, was last seen in Racine, Ohio, near the Ohio Division of Natural Resources Boat Ramp. Deputies say he was visiting his father when he left his father’s home to take a walk, but has not been seen since.

Sayre is described as a white male standing 6’3″ and weighing 190 lbs, with blue eyes and brown hair. He was officially reported missing on Monday evening.
Search teams, including residents, fire crews and deputies, have been out looking for Sayre. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
