
Arian Nicole Wiggins, 27, of Morgan City was initially charged with possession of Xanax (Alprazolam), possession of Adderall, sale, distribution or possession of a legend drug without a prescription, possession of Marijuana, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, expired motor vehicle inspection tag, possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle and driving on roadway laned for traffic.
She was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center and later released on May 20 after posting a $70,000 commercial bond.
APSO said a deputy saw Wiggins driving west on LA 70 in Pierre Part and initiated a traffic stop after seeing her commit a traffic violation.
After speaking with Wiggins, the deputy thought further investigation was needed in this case.
Her vehicle was searched, which led to the discovery of multiple controlled dangerous substances.
APSO said they found two legend drugs, including 11 doses of Xanax, 59 doses of Adderall, as well as three grams of marijuana.
They said 13 doses of LSD or Lysergic Acid and 3.77 grams of methamphetamine were also seized.
According to APSO, her “BAC was 0.00, but blood was obtained as she displayed signs of intoxication.”
The Louisiana State Police Crime Lab confirmed these substances, and Wiggins was arrested again on Monday, July 28, in Napoleonville. She was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of LSD (Lysergic Acid).
According to jail records, Wiggins remains in jail on $100,000 bond.
