INDIANAPOLIS — A portion of I-70 in Marion County eastbound is closed because of a vehicle fire, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
At around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, INDOT officials reported that all the lanes of I-70 eastbound at the 85.2 mile marker are closed because of a reported vehicle fire. This is located near the Keystone/Rural Street exit on I-70 eastbound.
INDOT did not provide a timeline of how long the highway will be closed. Officials with the Indiana State Polcie said that there were minor injuries sustained during this incident.
