Swastikas and the phrase “ICE Rules” were spray-painted on a grocery store and the buildings belonging to two community organizers.
First reported by the Chicago Tribune, a 38-year-old man turned himself in after seeing surveillance images of himself in reports of the crime. Chicago police later announced multiple felony counts against Philip Dominguez of Chicago.
Officers placed Dominguez into their custody on Saturday, July 26, after CPD says he was identified as the offender who defaced multiple properties within the 10th District.
All told, Dominguez faces the following charges:
Dominguez will appear before a Cook County judge on Tuesday.
