Columbus police seek public’s help in locating missing teen last seen near 8th Avenue

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Police Department is seeking the public’s help in a search for a missing teen.

Authorities are searching for 14-year-old Darnaisia Thompson, who is described as a Black female, standing 5 foot 7 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen in the 3400 block of 8th Avenue on July 23, according to Columbus PD.

Anyone with additional information on Thompson’s whereabouts is asked to dial 911 or contact the CPD Special Victims Unit at 706-225-3449, or the lead investigator, Cpl. Eric Schwind 706-225-4339.
