Officials quickly sprang into action and closed all lanes of OR-99W in the immediate aftermath. The Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office also ordered evacuations for everyone within a one-mile radius of the crash site, but later dropped that order to just 1000-feet from the immediate area.
Power was shut off at locations within the evacuation radius as emergency crews rushed to the scene.
Two charred vehicles were seen near the propane tank at the Wilco store. At this time, there are no reports of injuries, but the investigation into the crash is in its early stage.
KOIN 6 News has a crew at the scene and will have more information as it develops.
