Double shooting at apartments in Baton Rouge leaves pregnant mother, unborn child dead
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department was called to a shooting at 5151 Highland Road a little after 8:40 a.m. on Sunday, July 27.
BRPD found two people were shot and they were taken to the hospital.
Kimberly Martin, 29, died from injuries sustained in the shooting along with her unborn child.

The second shooting victim is expected to survive after suffering non-life threatening injuries, BRPD said.
