
NATCHITOCHES PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A Natchitoches man wanted on two federal warrants issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration has been taken into custody.
According to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, Perry Willis, 38, was arrested on July 23,
They say U.S. Marshals, the Natchitoches Parish Drug Enforcement Unit and the Natchitoches Police Department Narcotics Unit teamed up to apprehended Willis in Powhatan, Louisiana.
His arrest comes after several weeks of investigation, the sheriff’s office says.
During the arrest, officers recovered the following items from Willis:
$12,313.00 in cash
7.64 ounces of suspected synthetic marijuana
2.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine
1.7 grams of suspected marijuana
Five suspected Oxycodone pills
Two and a half unknown pills
Willis was transported to the LaSalle Correctional Facility, where he was booked on the following state charges:
Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS I (Synthetic Marijuana)
Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS I (Marijuana)
Possession of CDS II (Methamphetamine)
Possession of CDS II (Oxycodone)
