UPDATE: Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Highway 169 is open.
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Greenwood Mooringsport Road is closed after an accident with injury involving an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck.
The head-on collision was reported at 10:16 am, Thursday morning, involving an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck. The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office closed Hwy 169 just north of I-20 and just south of S. Lakeshore Drive until the crash site is cleared.
The driver of the pickup truck sustained “serious bodily injuries,” according to CPSO, and was brought to Ochsner LSU for treatment.
