Retail theft sting arrests six, recovers $900 in stolen merch: Milpitas PD

(KRON) — Six alleged thieves were nabbed and $900 in stolen merchandise was recovered during an organized retail theft sting at the Great Mall on Thursday, said the Milpitas Police Department.

MPD said the operation swept across four different stores at the Great Mall.

Milpitas PD confirmed the stolen merchandise, including beauty cosmetic products, was returned to the stores.

The suspects face several charges, including theft, drug possession, felony conspiracy, probation violations, and possession of burglary tools.

“Together, we are committed to keeping our retail spaces safe for businesses, employees, and shoppers!!” wrote Milpitas police in a social media post.
