Fire truck crashes into multiple vehicles at an NC dealership lot, police say

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — Emergency crews responded after a crash involving a fire truck and parked vehicles at a High Point car dealership.

On Friday, around 1:30 p.m., a High Point Fire Department truck ran off the road and crashed into vehicles in the parking lot of Vann York Chevrolet Buick GMC on Eastchester Drive, according to the High Point Police Department.

Firefighters were responding to a call with lights and sirens activated when another car failed to yield.

While trying to avoid crashing into the car, the fire truck ran off the road and hit several unoccupied vehicles in the parking lot of Vann York Chevrolet Buick GMC. 

Police say there were no serious injuries.

Video of the scene submitted by Grady Sawyer shows the fire truck rammed up against another vehicle. Tread marks are visible from the road through an area of short bushes and plants to the fire truck. Multiple tow trucks were present at the scene.
