ATCEMS: 1 dead after vehicle-pedestrian crash in Pflugerville

AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person died after a vehicle-pedestrian crash in Pflugerville Friday night, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

APD said on social media it responded to the crash around 9:40 p.m. in the 1300-1400 block of West Wells Branch Parkway. ATCEMS medics said on social media it responded to the crash and confirmed the pedestrian died on the scene.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes of West Wells Branch Parkway are “temporarily closed,” according to police. Drivers should expect traffic delays, as well as seek alternate routes.

No other details were available Friday.
