Blockchain developers use .xyz domains to build and share innovative zero-knowledge solutions. Zero-knowledge tech company ZKV.xyz aims to shape the future of blockchain security and privacy. Blockchain project Miden.xyz explores edge execution and private smart contracts using zero-knowledge technology. Blockchain platform Sophon.xyz explores on-chain entertainment and consumer apps through zero-knowledge infrastructure. In this week’s #BlockchainThursday, we’ll introduce you to a platform developing zkVM technology and a decentralized prover network to simplify zero-knowledge proofs: Succinct.xyz.
Succinct.xyz is the online home of Succinct, a zero-knowledge infrastructure company developing tools that aim to make zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) easier to use and more widely adopted. Succinct’s flagship product is SP1, a general-purpose zkVM (zero-knowledge virtual machine) designed to support use cases such as rollups, light clients, and coprocessors. According to Succinct’s website, SP1 is fully open source, written in Rust, and designed to deliver fast performance at low cost. In March 2024, Succinct announced that it raised $55M across Seed and Series A rounds led by Paradigm.xyz, with additional participation from investors including Robot Ventures, Bankless Ventures, and the founders of Polygon and EigenLayer.1
The company contributes to the field of blockchain by building tools aimed at improving scalability, interoperability, and verifiability. SP1 allows developers to build ZK-powered applications using familiar programming languages and existing Rust libraries. The Succinct Prover Network is a decentralized network of provers that offers on-demand proof generation. In July 2025, Succinct shared that A41, a blockchain infrastructure provider and one of Ethereum’s largest validators, joined the network to run a multi-node prover. A41 is contributing a scheduler and orchestration stack for SP1 to coordinate GPU clusters for high-throughput workloads such as gaming, rollups, and AI inference.2
According to Succinct’s website, a wide range of teams are building with SP1 and the Succinct Prover Network. These include infrastructure providers, rollup-as-a-service platforms, DeFi protocols, and interoperability projects. Examples include:
Succinct is co-founded by Uma Roy and John Guibas. Uma is the CEO and previously served as a founding engineer at the machine learning infrastructure startup Gantry, where she contributed to backend systems and model monitoring tools. She also worked as an AI Resident at Google Brain, focusing on natural language processing and cross-lingual representation learning. John co-founded Succinct in 2022 after working as a resident at the applied cryptography organization 0xPARC and as a research assistant at Stanford’s DAWN Lab, a research group focused on machine learning and database systems. He also completed a research internship at the computing and AI company NVIDIA, contributing to applied deep learning projects.
The use of Succinct.xyz places the company within a growing global community of developers and organizations building the next generation of blockchain infrastructure, decentralized finance tools, and zero-knowledge technologies. As a short and memorable domain without the limitations of traditional labels, .xyz is a fitting choice for a forward-thinking platform like Succinct. Groundbreaking technologies use .xyz for their solutions of tomorrow, making it a natural home for a company focused on simplifying and scaling access to zero-knowledge proofs. You can learn more by following the company on X/Twitter and LinkedIn, by joining the Discord, and by visiting Succinct.xyz.
