ZK protocol Cysic.xyz aims to decentralize proof generation and verification for the blockchain ecosystem

Innovators use .xyz domains to develop new infrastructure for finance, technology, and the decentralized web. Zero-knowledge (ZK) tech company ZKV.xyz aims to shape the future of blockchain security and privacy. Programmable datachain Irys.xyz introduces a model for onchain data interaction. ZK platform Succinct.xyz introduces tools for faster and more scalable blockchain applications. In this week’s #BlockchainThursday, we’ll introduce you to a ZK protocol developing a decentralized proof layer for scalable verification and settlement: Cysic.xyz.

Cysic.xyz introduces a decentralized proof layer for the ZK ecosystem

Cysic.xyz is the online home of Cysic, a protocol designed to provide zero-knowledge (ZK) proof generation and verification services across the broader cryptographic ecosystem. The network introduces a decentralized framework for proof computation and settlement, addressing the high costs and latency often associated with verifying ZK proofs on Ethereum. Built on the Cosmos SDK and compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), the Cysic Network is designed to make proof participation possible for a range of hardware providers, from GPU servers to mobile devices. In September 2025, co-founder Leo Fan spoke at “Verifying Intelligence – Where ZK Meets AI,” a Token2049 week event in Singapore co-organized by House of ZK and Boundless in partnership with Google Cloud.1

Proof generation, verification, and settlement on the Cysic Network

Cysic Network offers a one-stop platform for proof generation, verification, and settlement in ZK systems. It introduces decentralized provers to prevent single points of failure and integrates aggregation mechanisms to reduce settlement costs on Ethereum. Participants in the network can take on several roles:

  • Provers contribute computing power to generate ZK proofs.
  • Verifiers check the validity of generated proofs using lightweight resources.
  • Validators stake tokens and participate in consensus through the network’s Proof-of-Compute mechanism.

This structure is aimed at supporting web3 projects that rely on ZK technology for scalability, privacy, and interoperability. By allowing multiple hardware types to contribute, Cysic creates a framework where both large and small participants can take part in proof generation.

Supporting web3 through scalable ZK infrastructure and leadership

Cysic is co-founded by Xiong (Leo) Fan and Bowen Huang. According to LinkedIn, Leo has experience as a cryptography researcher at Algorand and served as an assistant professor at Rutgers University before co-founding Cysic in 2022. Bowen, based in New Haven, Connecticut, is listed on Crunchbase as a co-founder and attended Yale University. Together, they bring academic and industry backgrounds in cryptography and blockchain to the development of Cysic Network.

Cysic.xyz: A forward-facing domain for cryptography and blockchain innovation

Cysic secured the Cysic.xyz domain for its online presence. .XYZ is a common choice among blockchain and web3 projects seeking a short, flexible, and forward-facing domain name. For Cysic, the choice of Cysic.xyz aligns it with a growing community of innovators using .xyz to establish their platforms in cryptography, zero-knowledge systems, and decentralized infrastructure. You can learn more by following the protocol on X/Twitter @cysic_xyz and by visiting Cysic.xyz.
