TEXARKANA, TX  (KTAL/KMSS) — On Wednesday, Texarkana native and Savannah Bananas umpire, Vincent Chapman, made an appearance at Texarkana’s collegiate summer ball team, the Texarkana Rhinos.

Chapman earned his reputation of grooving on the grass while umping youth baseball games across East Texas and Southwest Arkansas, going viral and catching the attention of the Savannah Bananas.

At Wednesday’s game, he threw out the first pitch, greeted fans and former players he had umped for in the past, and of course, danced.

Sports reporter Kylee Corman caught up the with the Dancing Umpire and learned a few new dance moves before the game.
