
CHICAGO — A community alert was issued by Chicago police after anti-Semitic graffiti was found in Hyde Park.
According to Chicago police, an unknown suspect or suspects placed stickers and graffiti with anti-Semitic phrases on mailboxes, stop signs, Amazon lockers and an emergency bell.
A timeline and locations are below, per CPD.
- June 23 at around 2:41 p.m. — 5100 block of South University
- June 24 between 1 and 2 a.m. — 1300 block of East 53rd
- June 24 at around 10:07 p.m. — 1300 block of East 54th
- June 29 at around 8:57 p.m. — 1200 block of East 53rd Street
- June 30 at around 11:25 a.m. — 1500 block of East 55th Street
- July 22 at around 9:52 a.m. — 1600 block of East 55th Street
- July 22 at around 11 a.m. — 5000 block of South Greenwood
