1 shot on the northeast side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — One person was shot on the northeast side of Indianapolis on Thursday morning, according to IMPD.

Officers were dispatched to the 4800 block of N Ritter Avenue at approximately 7:20 a.m. on a report of a person shot.

Upon arrival, emergency crews transported the female victim to an area hospital in critical condition.
