NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is on the scene of a crash that left minors injured on Wednesday, July 23.
The incident reportedly happened around 1:40 p.m. at the corner of South Claiborne Avenue and Gravier Street.
NOPD officers say EMS is also on the scene as five juveniles were injured. In a 2:30 p.m. update, NOPD officials said four juveniles were taken to a hospital and one juvenile was treated at the scene.

Currently both directions of Tulane Avenue at the corner of South Claiborne Avenue is closed to traffic. Drivers are advised to find another route for their commute.
