During a narcotic search that occurred yesterday at the at the residence of 220 Demoruelle in Ville Platte, deputies arrested Keevonskie Williams, 18.
Williams faces the charges of one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, one count of transactions involving proceeds from drug offense, one count of possession of a firearm in the presence of CDS and seven counts of illegal use of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of persons under seventeen years of age, deputies said.
During the investigation, surveillance was conducted prior to deputies’ arrival, and upon the parcel’s delivery to the residence, agents observed an 18-year-old black male subject later identified as Williams allegedly taking the parcel into the residence, authorities reported.
After authorities initiated the search and detained Williams, they detained two male juvenile occupants and made contact with four young children at the residence, deputies said.
According to deputies the investigation led to a seizure of:
- Large amounts of cash totaling to be about over $5,780 in U.S. currency.
- a parcel package destined for Ville Platte with the addressee listed as Kason Wilson, 220 Demoruelle Street, Ville Platte, that contained a thin metal container containing a wrapped vacuum sealed package with four Ziploc bags containing Marijuana totaling to be about 522 grams or approximately 1 pound and 68.5 grams.
- a 9mm SCCY, purple pistol
- a digital scale along with a cardboard box containing a large amount of sandwich-sized plastic bags, which allegedly used to distribute/sell illegal narcotics.
