Two injured, temporary lane closure after rollover crash on Highway 177

DAVIS COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Crews responded to a rollover crash on Highway 177 late Monday night and shut down both southbound lanes.

On Monday night, around 9:30 p.m., Kaysville Fire and Layton City Fire responded to reports of a crash on highway 177. The crash occurred at the 200 North exit in Kaysville and involved a rollover.

Crews temporarily shut down both southbound traffic lanes but have now reopened them.

According to Kaysville Fire Department, five individuals were evaluated on scene, with two of them being transported to local trauma centers. One of the individuals had minor injuries and the other reportedly had serious injuries.

Fortunately, both individuals are stable and expected to recover.
