Kaysville driver plunges 60 feet into ravine, reportedly uninjured
KAYSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — Kaysville Fire Department and Police Departments responded to an accident on Sunday night where a truck went 60 feet into a ravine, yet the driver reported no injuries.
According to the Kaysville Fire Department, they received a call around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2025. A single driver in a pickup truck had left the end of a roadway and his vehicle plummeted around 60 feet into a ravine.

Fortunately, the driver was uninjured and was able to exit the vehicle. They then climbed up the hill and were assisted by nearby residents.
While the driver was uninjured, their vehicle was reportedly wedged beneath a tree and between two dirt hills.
Today, Kaysville fire crews tested their rescue techniques and their capabilities in recovering an injured patient. They reportedly tested strategies for conducting rescues on rugged terrain.
