Missing teen’s body found in St. Martin Parish; homicide investigation begins

ST. MARTIN PARISH, La. (KLFY) — Police are investigating the death of an St. Martin Parish teen who was previously reported missing.

According to officials with the St. Martinville Police Department, Iris Davis, 15, who was officially reported missing on Thursday, July 17, was located today deceased in a field near her residence in St. Martin Parish.

Officials said at this time, the case is now being investigated as a homicide.

Davis was last seen at her residence on Sunday, July 13, but was officially reported missing once she stopped contacting her guardian.
