Officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department released information about an additional shooting that reportedly occurred on the east side of Indianapolis.
At around 6:38 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of S Catherwood Avenue on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found an adult man with a reported gunshot wound injury. The man was reported to be in stable condition – awake and breathing.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating three reported shootings that occurred overnight throughout the Indianapolis area.
According to IMPD, officers responded to a report of a person shot near the intersection of E. 34th Street and N. Sherman Drive at around 1:28 a.m. Tuesday.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located a person who had an apparent gunshot wound injury. IMPD officials said that the person was reported to be awake and breathing.
At around 2:15 a.m., officers were called to the 1900 block of Alton Avenue on a report of a person shot. According to an IMPD report obtained by FOX59/CBS4, the offense listed surrounding the incident was an aggravated assault involving a handgun.
The two shootings come after IMPD officers investigated a reported shooting at around 11:53 p.m. Monday. Officers were called at that time to a local hospital in response to a walk-in person shot. At that time, the person who was reportedly shot was reported to be in stable condition.
