IGN can exclusively reveal Dark Horse and Absurd Ventures’ American Caper, a new crime fiction comic series from the mind of Dan Houser, the co-founder of Rockstar Games and longtime head writer and creative director of the

The series will also be illustrated by Eisner Award-winning artist David Lapham (Stray Bullets, EC Epitaphs from the Abyss) with finishes by Chris Anderson (Creepshow, Lost Angels), colored by Lee Loughridge (Nemesis: Rogue’s Gallery, G.I. Joe), and lettered by Nate Piekos (Minor Threats, The Umbrella Academy: Plan B).

Issue #1, which is available for pre-order now at local comic shops for $4.99, will feature covers from Tyler Boss, Simon Bisley, Martin Simmonds, Joe Quinones, and Marguerite Savage. America Caper is edited by Shelly Bond and Daniel Chabon.
