The grocery chain also operates in Rockford, Hoffman Estates, and Evanston.
A spokesperson for the store, citing a downturn in foot traffic at the Loves Park store, said employees will be consolidated into the Rockford location, at 5880 E. State Street.
Valli Produce is known for its expansive selection of produce, fresh meats, and international items, featuring some exotic items not typically found in the Rockford area.
The store is set to close August 4th.
