Valli Produce to close Loves Park store in August, relocating employees

LOVES PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — Valli Produce will close its Loves Park grocery store in early August.

The store, at 6550 N. Alpine Road, opened in the former Cub Foods building in 2004.

The grocery chain also operates in Rockford, Hoffman Estates, and Evanston.

A spokesperson for the store, citing a downturn in foot traffic at the Loves Park store, said employees will be consolidated into the Rockford location, at 5880 E. State Street.
