Investigation underway after Cleveland County woman fatally shot in her front yard: Sheriff

CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Deputies are investigating a shooting that killed a woman in her front yard, according to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office.

On Friday, deputies responded to a shooting at an apartment at 6920 Baker Drive. When they arrived, they found the homeowner, Tamia Logan, dead in the front yard, officials said.

No other details on the incident have been released.
