Authorities are investigating after an infant died in Big Lake early Friday morning.
Big Lake police said officers were dispatched to the 5500 block of Aberdeen Way at about 8 a.m. for a medical call involving a 6-month-old child who was unresponsive and not breathing.
First responders attempted life-saving measures; however, the child was pronounced dead, the police department said.
Big Lake police, the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, Sherburne County Health and Human Services Department and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office are conducting an investigation into the death.
