MoCo Minute | Bethesda’s Imagination Stage awarded national grant
BETHESDA, Md. (DC News Now) — Imagination Stage has received a three-year national grant from the Kaiser Permanente Fund to expand its mental health-focused theater programming to schools across all 50 states.
The grant will also allow the Bethesda-based organization to double the number of children it serves in the D.C. region.
Part of Kaiser Permanente’s Thriving Schools initiative, the free performances aim to support students’ emotional well-being through the arts.
