Kerman’s downtown gets vibrant murals

KERMAN, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The city of Kerman has vibrant new murals displayed in the heart of downtown.

The Kerman murals are part of the city’s Downtown Corridor Revitalization Project. The murals were made possible by the Caltrans Clean California Grant Program. Caltrans awarded nearly $490,000 to the city.

The grant program is part of Gov. Gavin Newsom’s 2021 Clean California initiative. Through the program, funds go to local communities to beautify and improve local streets and roads, tribal lands, parks, pathways and transit centers.
