In an exclusive KOIN Conversations segment from this week on KOIN+, Ranger Chocolate Co. founder George Domurot unveiled that their line of high-quality, delicious chocolates will soon be featured on Alaska flights.
“We’re launching across all Alaska Airlines next month,” he said. “It’s been very challenging for many reasons to expand and grow, but we’re so lucky to have the type of people that live in Portland and work in Oregon that help us achieve this next level with our company.”
Alaska, which has a history of offering Oregon- and Washington-sourced food and drink options, declined to comment.
Ranger launched in 2013 and has quickly become one of the West Coast’s top chocolate providers.
“We have a new tasting center for local customers opening in a couple of weeks,” said Domurot. “But really, our focus right now is making sure we’re ready to go for what’s coming [with Alaska].”
KOIN Conversations airs every weekday at 3:30 p.m. on KOIN’s streaming app, KOIN +. It features dynamic interviews with local newsmakers, politicians, sports figures and much more.
