LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Several law enforcement officials have been arrested as part of a federal investigation.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office has confirmed a law enforcement operation conducted in the area involving Homeland Security, the FBI and IRS investigators. The office will hold a press conference in Lafayette at 10 a.m. to release more information on the matter. Watch the conference above.
Lester Duhé, press secretary for Attorney General Liz Murrill, said state authorities are also involved in the investigation.
