Monica Davis was charged in April with running a dental practice without a license.
According to WLS, Davis was additionally charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and theft through deception.
Prosecutors said Davis worked at a business called “The Veneer Experts” in Schaumburg, where she gave patients fake braces and left at least one person with a chipped tooth.
The Veneer Experts had formerly operated out of a strip mall in Las Vegas, where Davis was arrested in January for illegally practicing dentistry without a Nevada dental license.
She pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm in July 2025 and was sentenced to two years’ probation, which includes three months of home confinement, and a $512 fine.
