According to officials with the Indiana Department of Transportation, the crash occurred near the 88-mile marker on I-65 southbound in Johnson County at around 12:21 p.m. on Tuesday. The crash was described as one with an injury.
In an update from INDOT, officials initially said that traffic is being diverted off at State Road 44, near the 90 mile-marker, on I-65 southbound.
In an update from INDOT at around 12:40 p.m., officials said the left lane is now open on I-65 southbound in Johnson County. Traffic is no longer being diverted, however the right lane remains closed.
This comes after Central Indiana has seen several crashes on Tuesday, including one that closed a portion of I-65 in Clinton County as well as a crash on I-70 eastbound in Hancock County.
