SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – An agent from the SC Law Enforcement Division was terminated Thursday for reportedly driving under the influence in a state-issued vehicle.

SLED confirmed that Lieutenant Jefferson Keith Dorman was arrested by the SC Highway Patrol for driving under the influence in Spartanburg County.

Officials said Dorman was operating his state-issued vehicles during the time of the offense.

A spokesperson shared with 7NEWS that SLED Chief Mark Keel has a zero-tolerance policy for DUI.

Dorman was immediately fired at the Spartanburg County Detention Center by an SLED supervisor, according to the agency.
