Man killed during morning shooting in North Philadelphia

(WPHL) — A man has died after he was shot multiple times in North Philadelphia on Monday morning.

According to the Philadelphia Police, the shooting occurred at 8:09 a.m. in the area of 1800 Cambria Street.

Police located an adult male victim who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

Officers transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 9 am.

At this time, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is active with the homicide unit.
