Eleven-year-old Avery County boy missing from home: Sheriff’s Office

AVERY COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The public’s help is requested in finding a missing 11-year-old boy, according to the Avery County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials say the unnamed boy was last seen at his home in the Minneapolis, N.C., area. He is described as standing 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing about 90 pounds. He has medium dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes.

The boy was last seen wearing camouflage pants, a camouflage shirt, and a bright green shirt underneath. He is thought to be traveling on foot, possibly headed toward the town of Elk Park or the Frank community.
